Wear-resistant Pipe

- May 27, 2019-

The wear-resistant pipe has been transported throughout the power, metallurgy, coal, petroleum, chemical, building materials, machinery and other industries, and is developing at a high speed.

Wear of the wear tube is a ubiquitous phenomenon, and the surface where both objects are in contact with each other and has relative motion will wear. Pipe wear refers to the wear and tear of the damage caused by the detachment or transfer caused by the surface of the pipe when the pipe material is impacted by flowing water and small and loose particles.

The use of the ideal high-strength, high-tough, high-plastic material wear-resistant tube is an important way to reduce abrasive wear.

The material of the wear-resistant tube is basically divided into four categories, 1, a polymer material tube; 2, an inorganic non-metallic material tube; 3, a metal material tube; 4, a composite material tube.

Wear-resistant pipes are widely used for mine filling, ore fines and tailings transportation, and wear-resistant pipes such as powder feeding, slag removal and ash conveying in coal-fired power plants are also very suitable.

Type of wear-resistant tube

The wear-resistant pipe materials are basically divided into four categories, and their main features are:

1. Wear-resistant tube of polymer material:

Polymer based materials, including rubber, plastics, fibers, coatings, and adhesives. Rubber is a kind of linear flexible polymer. The polymer fiber is divided into natural fiber and chemical fiber. The plastic is mainly composed of synthetic resin or chemically modified natural polymer.

Main characteristics: low strength, high plasticity and toughness.

2. Wear-resistant pipes of inorganic non-metallic materials:

Inorganic non-metallic materials are materials composed of oxides, carbides, nitrides, halogen compounds, borides, and silicates, aluminates, phosphates, borates, etc. of certain elements. Glass, ceramics, abrasives (silicon carbide, alumina), cast stone (diabase, basalt, etc.), carbon materials, non-metallic minerals (asbestos, mica, marble, etc.).

Main characteristics: high strength, low plasticity and toughness.

3, wear-resistant tube of metal materials:

Metal elements or materials with metallic properties mainly composed of metal elements, including pure metals, alloys, intermetallic compounds and special metal materials. Metal materials are usually classified into ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and special metallic materials.

Main characteristics: According to different metal performance indexes, the strength is different from plasticity and toughness.

4. Wear-resistant tube of composite material:

The composite material is based on one material and the other material is a combination of reinforcements. The various materials complement each other in performance and produce synergistic effects, so that the overall performance of the composite material is superior to the original composition materials. Different requirements.

Main characteristics: According to the performance index of the composite material, the matching strength is different from the plasticity and toughness.
