Our chromium carbide overlay wear plates are produced to rigid specifications in facility under strict process controls. Using open arc welding process produces resilient overlay that will not chip or spall. The result is a surface possessing an excellent combination of high resistance to erosion, severe abrasion and moderate impact strength. Our proprietary chemistry yields a superior overlay plate. Wear resistance is up to 20 times that of mild steel.

In proper applications, our products outlasts other steels, including heat-treated wear-resistant alloys, by an average of four to six times. Payback occurs quickly.
Our CCO plate lets you cut costs by using a thinner plate. Since it lasts 4-6 times longer, it takes only 6mm overlay on a 8mm base plate to equal or outperform 20mm wear-resistant steel. This option reduces dead weight and increases capacity.
