Rubber backed ceramic plates


Rubber backed ceramic plates are designed and manufactured by vulcanising 92% or 95% wear-resistant alumina tiles into the rubber backing.Alumina works against erosion where as rubber on back take the impact load and thus after impact the sliding abrasion will be taken care of by alumina tile .

The benefits of rubber backed ceramic sheets are that the alumina is exposed to the material flow and is fully embedded into a specially designed rubber backing.


Scope of application:

The ceramic rubber composite lining plate combines the high wear resistance of the ceramic and the impact resistance of the rubber, and is suitable for the anti-wear of the material conveying system equipment. It is widely used in the coal handling system of thermal power plants and the hoppers and silos of the conveying and batching systems of the metallurgical and steel system sintering plants, where the drop is high and the impact is large.
