Description of the wear resistant composite steel plate


The wear-resistant composite steel plate is a composite wear-resistant laminate composed of up to 40-60% of a chromium carbide alloy on an appropriate steel substrate by means of an arc. The material of the overlay welding layer is uniform and the appearance is regular. The carbides in the wear-resistant layer metallographic structure are distributed in a fibrous manner and are perpendicular to the surface. The surface hardness can reach above HRC67. The carbide with a high content of chromium carbide is resistant to corrosion. Grinding composite plates are suitable for extremely worn environments.

The main ingredients of Wodon plates are C(%) :3.0-5.0 and Cr(%):25-40. This chemical proportion results in a large amount of Cr7C3 chrome carbide hard particles. The micro-hardness (up to HV1800) of these particles throughout the layer will guarantee a super wear resistant surface.
